Need to Know

Guns- We provide all the of the guns, Pulsar thermals optics, ammunition, Walker earmuffs, and shooting
sticks for your hunt. We use Wise Arms, LLC AR-15s in 7.62×39 and AR-15 6.5 Grendel. If you
wish to bring your own gun and thermal please let us know in advance.

Proper attire- Camo apparel if you have it, but not required.  Anything dark colored or earth tones are perfect, green, brown, or black. Prevent wearing abrasive or starched clothing that will be noisy when stalking hogs. Make sure to dress for the weather.

Waterproof or Work boots- You may need waterproof boots, or rubber boots for your hunt
depending on the weather. Please be in touch if your group does not have these items, so that
we can accommodate.

Hunting License- It is no longer required to have a hunting license to harvest hogs on private property in
Texas. However, you are still required to have completed a hunter safety certification course either in
Texas or your home state. Additionally, if you wish to harvest any varmints or predators during your pig
hunt you will be required to have a Texas hunting license prior to doing so. You may purchase a 5 day
non-resident license from TPWD or any local sporting goods store.

Accommodations– Lodging and accommodations are included. You will have the availability to come
and go from the lodge to the hunting area as you wish during the duration of your hunt. Lodge has a full
kitchen, fridge, grill, cooking utensils and firepit.

Taxidermy and Processing Recommendations– We have a cleaning station provided for you to use free
of charge. We try to keep sharp knives, clippers, and saws available for use but they grow legs and walk
off from time to time. We suggest bring your own set of cleaning knives. Chest Freezer on back deck
available for storing and freezing meat prior to your departure. Guides will skin and quarter hog for
$100/pig (guides may not be available to skin and quarter hogs at the time of your harvest depending on
the time of night).

Description

This North Texas thermal pig and hog hunt price includes unlimited pigs. Call us anytime – 469-289-1464 (1HOG).

Thermal hunts are fully guided.  No Hidden Fees, No kill Fees, No Trophy Fees, and No Limits on Hogs. You will depart from the lodge with your guide. You will go from farm to farm scanning with Pulsar
Helion XP50 monocular looking for feeding hogs. We will be hunting crop fields, feeders, and watering
holes. Once pigs are located, we will stalk within shooting range (50-100 yard) and using Pulsar
Thermion 2 thermal optics mounted on AR-15’s in 7.62×39. Each hunter will be provided with a gun, optics, ammo, Walker Electronic Ear muffs, and shooting stick. We will take as many pigs as we can, and move along to
the next property to do it again! Typical hunt is 6 hours and during that time we average 2-3 groups of
pigs.

We offer a guaranteed shot opportunity on all of our Thermal hog hunts.  If you don’t get a shot on a pig during your hunt, we will take you out again on us. 

Lodging is included with all of our hunt packages.  Enjoy a night at our Three Curl Lodge located just south of Waxahachie, Tx only 30 minutes south of Dallas.  The lodge is fully furnished with full kitchen, cooking utensils, linens outdoor deck, satellite TV, WIFI, horseshoes, darts, cornhole, and more for your use. Lodge is 5-bedroom 2 bathroom and can sleep up to 12.
